What we believe
Public data, openly cited
Every price estimate traces back to CMS hospital charge data, the Provider Specific File, hospital price transparency MRFs, BLS regional cost indices, and IRS HSA/tax tables. No paid black-box feeds, no synthetic estimates dressed up as data.
Math is the moat
The hard part is not collecting prices — hospitals must publish them. The hard part is turning chargemaster, CCR, GPCI, and insurance contract terms into a comparable apples-to-apples cost. That math layer is what we build.
No medical advice
Melivaro is a financial calculator for medical decisions. We do not recommend procedures, surgeons, or treatment plans. We compare costs across facilities, insurance paths, payment instruments, and medical tourism destinations. Clinical decisions belong to you and your provider.
